East Tennessee Heart Consultants, P.C. is committed

1973
Dr. Ronald
Yatteau establishes his practice at
Baptist Hospital founding East Tennessee Heart Associates.
1974
East Tennessee Heart Associates becomes East Tennessee
Heart Consultants, which expands its office space at Baptist.
1975
ETHC moves into the Baptist Professional Building.
1981
Dr. Yatteau performs Knoxville's first balloon
angioplasty.
1980's
ETHC flourishes, adding doctors and successfully
completing cardiac testing and surgical procedures.
1990
ETHC hires its first administrator. The group has
grown to 22 cardiologists.
2002
Knoxville Cardiovascular Consultants merge with
ETHC, adding nine more doctors from St. Mary's.
2003
Cardiology Associates of East Tennessee merges
with ETHC, adding eight doctors from Ft. Sanders Parkwest and Ft.
Sanders Loudon to the group.
2004
ETHC has grown to 40 cardiologists. ETHC celebrates
30 years of service to patients.
